Raw Data:
The report includes the raw data that we use to interpret your results. The data is highlighted for ease of interpretation with orange meaning “Slight Elevation” and red meaning “Major Elevation”.
We’ve arranged the data so that the most important categories appear first, allowing you to quickly identify areas of concern.
-
Predominantly Indoor – Water Related mould types grow on water damaged building materials indoors and are very rarely found outdoors.
-
Indoor/Outdoor mould types can grow indoors and outdoors.
-
Predominantly Outdoor mould types usually grow outdoors and are very unlikely to grow on building materials indoors.
-
Particulates are any particles that we did not identify as mould spores.
There are no government established safe or healthy levels for mould inside the home, so we compare the amount of spores found inside the home with the amount found outside. We use this comparison to find out if any spores found inside the home are naturally occurring from the outside environment or if mould is growing inside the home. The highlights on the report will reflect this comparison and let you know if a high number of spores found inside is concerning.
Please note - If an outdoor air sample was not provided, the report will not include any interpretation of the results.
Example of report findings:

Trace Images
Each sample you provide to us is shown in the report with:
-
An overview “trace” image of the entire sample, showing all particles detected
-
A zoomed-in image of an interesting or notable area of the slide
This offers a unique opportunity to see what’s actually floating in your home’s air.
